Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Highapps (“we”) handles information in the
Voice Birdy Android app
(am.highapps.voicebirdy). Voice Birdy is a free arcade
game supported by ads. It is Android-only. It does not require an account.
Voice control is optional; tapping still plays.
We do not operate our own user accounts, login, or game servers. We do not require an email or phone number to use the app. There is no worldwide ranking.
What the app does
- A tap-to-flap arcade game: pass pipes to score, pick up extras to restore life, and optionally face lightning.
- Lets you flap by tapping or by voice commands.
- Can save an optional name and score on the phone, plus a sound setting.
- Shows ads from Google AdMob after a consent message where that message applies.
- Uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand usage and fix crashes.
Information we do not collect
Voice Birdy does not ask for, and the app does not read:
- Your email, phone number, or payment details (except if you email us yourself)
- Contacts, camera, or your photo library
- GPS / location
- Account credentials (there is no sign-in)
We do not sell your personal information. We do not upload your high-score list to a Highapps server.
Microphone and speech recognition
Voice Birdy asks for the microphone so it can listen for commands such as “play”, “start”, “fly”, “up”, and “flap”.
Highapps does not keep voice recordings. The phone’s speech service — on most devices, Google — turns what you say into text. Google may process that audio under its own privacy policy. The game only checks whether a command word was recognized.
You can refuse the microphone. Tapping still starts and plays a game; voice commands will not work.

Data stored on your device
The following stays on the phone unless you clear the app or uninstall:
- High scores — an optional name and score, if you choose to save a run.
- Sound on or off.
If the phone backs up apps, those settings may be included in your backup and restored if you reinstall.
When a name is sent to analytics
If you save a high score with a name, that name and score are stored on the phone and also sent to Firebase Analytics. Skip the save screen if you do not want that. Do not enter an email or anything you would not want Google Analytics to receive.
Starting a run may also be recorded as a simple analytics event (button or voice). That does not include your name.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. The app uses internet access and the Android Advertising ID for this purpose. After consent allows ads, you may see ads on the home screen and after a game.
In regions where Google’s consent messages apply (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), Voice Birdy shows Google’s consent form before requesting ads. Personalized advertising follows the choices you make there and in your device’s ad settings.
Google and its partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction data to serve and measure ads. That processing is governed by Google’s policies, not by a Highapps server.

Analytics and crash reporting
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics is started when the app launches. Crashlytics is enabled so we can diagnose failures. Google may also receive device and network information typical of those services (for example IP address, device model, OS version, app version).
Typical data includes:
- App opens and sessions
- Whether a run started from a button or from voice, and, if you save a record, the name and score
- Crash reports used to fix bugs
- Ad activity reported through Google

Permissions
- Internet — ads, analytics, crash reporting, consent messages, voice commands, and opening this policy.
- Microphone — optional voice commands.
- Advertising ID — ads, subject to your consent and device settings.
- Vibrate — a short vibration when lightning hits.
The app does not request location, camera, contacts, or access to your photo library.
Sharing and links
- Privacy policy on the home screen opens this page.
- Ads or crash reports may open links to other sites or apps. Those destinations have their own policies.
Children
Voice Birdy is a general-audience arcade game. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the digital-consent age in your country). The game requests a microphone for voice commands and shows ads. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that sent data to Google, contact us and we will help as far as the third-party consoles allow.
Your choices
- Microphone — refuse it in the system prompt or later in Android Settings; tap-to-play still works.
- Ads consent — complete or revisit the consent message where it is shown; also use Android Settings → Privacy / Google → Ads, or adssettings.google.com.
- High-score name — skip the save screen, or uninstall / clear storage to remove the list.
- Sound — toggle from the in-game menu.
- This policy — linked from the home screen, and from Google Play.
Security
Traffic to Google (ads, analytics, crashes, and typically speech) uses encrypted connections. High scores stay in the app’s private storage. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.
Google may process data on servers outside your country. See Google’s privacy policy for the safeguards it uses.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
