Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Highapps (“we”) handles information in the
Classic BrickBreaker Android app
(am.highapps.classicbrickbreaker). Classic BrickBreaker is a free arcade
game supported by ads. It is Android-only. It does not require an account.
We do not operate our own user database or login. We do not require a name, email, or phone number to use the app.
What the app does
- A paddle-and-wall arcade game: you drag the paddle to keep the ball in play and break a randomly generated 8-by-10 brick field.
- Four brick types (ordinary, hard, explosive, movable) and three scoring difficulties (Easy, Normal, Hard), plus a no-score practice mode.
- Saves a high score, difficulty, and sound-effects preference on the device.
- Lets you share a Play Store link, open the listing to rate, or open the HighApps developer page.
- Shows AdMob ads after Google’s consent flow where that flow applies.
- Uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand usage and fix crashes.
Information we do not collect
Classic BrickBreaker does not ask for, and the app does not read:
- Your name, email, phone number, or payment details (except if you email us yourself)
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, camera, microphone, or your photo library
- Account credentials (there is no sign-in)
We do not sell your personal information. We do not upload high scores or game settings to a Highapps server.
Data stored on your device
The following stays on the phone unless you share a Play Store link, or Android backs the app up:
- High score (a number). You can reset it from the home screen.
- Difficulty (Can’t die / Easy / Normal / Hard).
- Sound effects on or off.
Android stores this in the app’s private preferences. Uninstalling the app, or clearing app storage, deletes it. If the device uses Android backup, those preferences may be included in your backup and restored if you reinstall.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. The app requests internet access and the Android Advertising ID for this purpose. After consent allows ads, you may see:
- A banner on the home screen
- Interstitial (full-screen) ads
- Rewarded video ads
In regions where Google’s consent messages apply (including the EEA, UK, and
Switzerland), Classic BrickBreaker shows Google’s
User Messaging Platform (UMP) form before requesting ads.
Ads are loaded only when that form allows it (canRequestAds).
Personalized advertising follows the choices you make there and in your
device’s ad settings. The ads SDK is initialized with under-age-of-consent
set to false because we do not intend the app for that audience.
Google and its partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction data to serve and measure ads. That processing is governed by Google’s policies, not by a Highapps server.

The old policy for this app listed Fabric. Classic BrickBreaker does not use Fabric.
Analytics and crash reporting
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics is started when the app launches so we can keep the product stable and understand usage. Crashlytics is enabled so we can diagnose failures. Google may also receive device and network metadata typical of those SDKs (for example IP address, device model, OS version, app version).
Typical data includes:
- Automatic Analytics events (for example app open and session)
- Crash logs, stack traces, and diagnostic information from Crashlytics
- Ad requests, fills, impressions, and clicks reported through AdMob / Google
The app code does not send your high score, difficulty, or sound setting to Firebase as named custom events. Those values stay in on-device preferences unless Google’s SDKs include them incidentally (they should not).

Permissions
- Internet — ads, analytics, crash reporting, and opening this policy, the Play Store, or email.
- Network / Wi-Fi state — the app checks connectivity before some ad actions.
- Advertising ID — AdMob, subject to your consent and device settings.
The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or access to your photo library.

Children
Classic BrickBreaker is an arcade game rated Everyone. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the digital-consent age in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EU). The ads SDK is initialized with under-age-of-consent set to false because we do not intend the app for that audience. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that sent data to Google, contact us and we will help as far as the third-party consoles allow.
Your choices
- Ads consent — complete or revisit the UMP message where it is shown; also use Android Settings → Privacy / Google → Ads.
- High score / settings — reset the high score in the app, change difficulty or sound, or uninstall.
- Share — only happens when you tap Share; you choose the receiving app.
- This policy — linked from the overflow menu on the home screen.
Security
Traffic to Google (ads, analytics, crashes) uses encrypted connections provided by those SDKs. On-device preferences stay in the app’s private storage. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
