Stop on the mark. Every time you park.
StopSpot turns a spare phone into a parking stoplight for your garage.
Mount it on the wall facing the bay. As you pull in, the front camera measures
your licence plate and the whole screen goes green, yellow, then red, so you
can see it from the driver’s seat.

How it works
Set it once. Then just drive in.
StopSpot measures the four corners of your licence plate and works out how far the
car is from the stop point you set. Everything runs on the phone.
1
Mount the phone
On the front wall at about bumper height, screen and front camera
facing the bay, on its charger. Landscape or portrait. Choose your plate size:
long European, two-line, US and import sizes, Japan, Australia or China,
and centimetres or inches.
2
Set the stop
Park exactly where you want to stop and tap Set stop here.
Optionally enter the tape-measured distance for an exact reading.
The app warns you if the phone is moved later.
3
Pull in
Green counts the centimetres or inches down, yellow says slow, red says STOP,
and a flashing red tells you to back up. An arrow shows which way to steer.
The screen stays dim until a car arrives.
Be straight about it
A parking convenience aid. Not a safety device.
StopSpot does not prevent collisions, and it cannot see what is behind or beside the car.
Always check your surroundings.
It needs to see the plate. Mud, a bike rack or a missing front plate make it fall back
to a coarser estimate: the screen shows a dashed ring and no distance figure.

Made for the wall
Runs on the charger all day, dims when idle, and backs off if the phone gets warm.
